Chuck
Day 27: Chuck by Nocap Labs. A Chucky-inspired cluster slot where sticky Chucks grow, merge and multiply your wins up to x5,000. It was my worst session of the project so far, with a 50x top win and a 650x near miss, but on a better day this one can get juicy. APPROVED, and more from this studio are coming.

Day 27 - Chuck - Slot Review
On day 27, after back to back Rise of Olympus sessions, I finally got bored and went for a game from a fresh studio I haven’t played before: Chuck by Nocap Labs. The studio has 14 games in its portfolio, and the main character is inspired by Chucky, the killer doll from the classic horror movies. It’s a 7x7 grid game with a 50,000x max multiplier potential.
There are no paylines here. You win by landing 5 or more matching symbols that touch each other, and the winning cluster disappears so new symbols can drop in. Chuck is the special symbol. When she lands (yes, she, she’s got boobs), she sticks to the grid, and every win next to her grows her multiplier. Chucks that end up close to each other merge into one bigger Chuck, and a merged Chuck can climb all the way to x5,000. They never fall off the grid, so they stay and keep growing for the rest of the round, and any win that touches them gets multiplied.
The Bonus symbol triggers the free spins, and there are three versions. A regular Bonus gives you 10 free spins and starts with no Chucks on the grid. A Super Bonus gives you [10/12] free spins and starts with 2 Chucks already on the grid. A Hidden Bonus gives you 12 free spins and starts with 4 Chucks already on the grid. The Chucks stay sticky for the whole feature, and landing another Bonus symbol during the round adds 5 more spins. [Add the multiplier detail once confirmed: x2 growing by x1 in one version, x5 growing by x5 in the other.]
The plan for winning is simple: get Chucks onto the grid early, hope they land close enough to merge, and make your clusters touch them. A few big Chucks will pay far more than a lot of small ones.
This was my worst session since the start of the project. I triggered the Super Bonus once and the regular Bonus twice, and the biggest payout I saw was 50x. I did have a near miss when a 650x Chuck was sitting on the grid, and if it had linked with a cluster, it would have been a crazy payday.
A few things feel raw, especially the sound effects and the animations during the free spins teasing moment. The winning clusters also aren’t framed or properly highlighted on the grid, which makes the game harder to follow.
The base game isn’t generous enough and the free spins hit rate isn’t high either, but that’s usually the case with games that have such a high max multiplier. The RTP gets balanced by eating into the base game and the hit rates.
Even after a bad losing session, the game showed its potential, and on the right day it can be quite juicy. There’s still some polishing needed for it to feel complete.
1000 Spins APPROVED? YES, and I’ll give a few other games from this studio a try.
