Dead Noon
On Day 15, we played Dead Noon by Auravex, a 5x5 Money Train-style slot with x50,000 max potential, built around seven different Wild types. We hit 5 Standard Bonuses (best x170), all in the first 500 spins, and then none in the last 500. The total win shows on screen before the animations finish, which spoils the fun. We lost, but we enjoyed it. APPROVED!

Day 15 - Dead Noon - Slot Review
On Day 15, I chose a game from a new studio again: Dead Noon by Auravex. They have 10 slots in their portfolio so far, and we played one of their newer ones.
It’s a 5x5 slot with a max multiplier potential of x50,000. The theme is quite similar to the classic Money Train, and so are the mechanics.
The whole game is built around its different Wild symbols:
Orc Wild: A regular Wild with a random multiplier attached. Spawner: Shoots around the reels and spawns Orc Wilds with random multipliers on them. Payer: Adds its multiplier to the multiplier of every other Wild on the reels. Double: I guess I don’t need to explain this one. It doubles the multiplier of the Wild it shoots. Collector: Adds the multiplier of every other Wild on the reels to itself. Undertaker: Spawns up to 8 random Wilds (Ghost Wilds) on the reels. Ghost Wild: The Wild type that the Undertaker raises on the reels.
The game has 3 bonus rounds:
Standard Bonus (3 Scatters): Every Orc Wild is sticky. The rest of the Wilds are not. Super Bonus: Every special Wild and Orc Wild stays sticky on the reels. Hidden Bonus: Same as the Super Bonus, but a random special Wild starts locked in the centre cell from the first spin.
All the bonus rounds have a guaranteed minimum win of x10.
During our first 500 spins, we triggered the Standard Bonus 5 times, and the highest-paying one hit x170. Our last 500 spins were a complete disaster, with 0 bonus triggers and only small base game wins.
The base game gets quite fun when the special Wilds drop on the reels.
There’s one crucial problem, though. The total win amount shows on the UI before the win animations are over, which kills the fun of watching the win build.
We had a bust session overall, but the game showed its potential with a bonus roughly once every 200 spins and some decent base game wins.
We lost but enjoyed the game. APPROVED!
