Love Nest - Hold & Seek
Day 20 was Love Nest Hold & Seek by Shady Lady, a Silent Hill style nightmare with a 20,000x max win potential. I got zero bonuses and a whole session of dead spins. The worst session since day one. I love Shady Lady overall but the game didn't pass the test, Not APPROVED!

Day 20 - Love Nest Hold & Seek - Slot Review
On day 20, I took on Love Nest Hold & Seek by Shady Lady, and it’s one of the creepiest games I’ve put through the 1,000 spins test. Design-wise it gave me the same vibes as those early 2000s Silent Hill and Resident Evil games, with a dark suburban street, cobwebs everywhere and body parts as the symbols.
It’s a 5x5 grid game with a 20,000x max multiplier potential.
The whole game revolves around The Critter, a hairy little creature that crawls out of the ground whenever a cascade runs out of wins. It carves a path cell by cell toward a Buried Box, and if there’s no box on the grid it just picks a direction at random. Those boxes land at the bottom of the grid in all kinds of shapes and pay nothing while they’re sealed, but every cell The Critter reaches inside one turns wild, and any Moths sitting on the box get paid out too. On the widest boxes it can only carve one way through, so only the cells it actually reaches turn wild.
The Critter also eats high-value body part symbols on its way, and each one it swallows tears open a Meat Eating Vortex. The vortex sucks in symbols from above, and every high-value one it grabs becomes a Multiplier Moth that gets added to the global multiplier. It can also spawn 1 to 3 Red Moths, which double the multiplier outright instead of adding to it. Ground Tremor can hit in the base game or the bonus too, collapsing rows from the bottom up and wiping everything except boxes and scatters, which gives you a second chance in the cascade that follows.
The money is in the bonus. Land 3 scatters and you get 3 spins to get The Critter into the held Buried Box. Open it and the count resets with a fresh box, miss it and the bonus is over, and the global multiplier never resets for the whole thing. 4 scatters trigger the Super Bonus, with bigger boxes more likely and 5 spins per box. This version also has an exclusive Hold & Seek Bonus, triggered at random by the Garden Maze Scatter, where The Critter has 3 spins to reach a hiding man for anywhere from 2x to 200x, multiplied by the global multiplier.
So the recipe is to trigger the bonus, keep feeding The Critter boxes and let the multiplier snowball.
My session didn’t follow the recipe at all. It was the deadest run since day one, and it stayed that way for the whole session: 0 bonus triggers and nothing worth mentioning in the base game apart from a 26x. I felt like the guy buried underground waiting to be eaten by The Critter, and my soul left my body somewhere around spin 800.
1000 Spins Approved? Hell No. This was my worst session to date, and the game never showed its potential once.
