Day 12 - Moderator Madness - Slot Review

On Day 12, we played Moderator Madness by Krazy Nerdz, the debut game of a new studio, with x25,000 max multiplier potential.

It's a 5x4 game with an expanding wild feature in the base game, played by the Moderator character. He randomly drops onto one or more reels and links the symbols with a random multiplier from 1x to 100x. Unfortunately, we never saw an expanding wild land on the first 2 reels during our session, and never on more than one reel at a time either.

The game has 3 bonus rounds:

Timeout (3 Scatters) Power Trip (4 Scatters) Ban Hammer (5 Scatters)

During the bonus rounds, a Kitten symbol drives a progressive multiplier. The more Kittens you collect, the higher the multiplier on the Expanding Wilds, which also become sticky for the rest of the round.

We triggered 2x Timeout and Power Trip during the session, and combined all they paid only x8, 2 of the bonuses literally paid 0. And our biggest win in the game was literally an x30 win in the base game, nothing more than that during the whole 1000 spins.

The UI and artwork look top notch, but the bonus game speed needs fine-tuning. My favourite thing about the game was the music, which reminded me of Infected Mushroom.

Overall, we had no fun in the base game, and the long-awaited bonus round results were terrible. Unfortunately, NOT APPROVED.
