Day 14 - Raven's Revenge - Slot Review

On Day 14, after a massive session in an older title yesterday, I decided to shake things up and picked a new game: Raven’s Revenge from a new studio called Valkyrie.

It’s a 5x4 slot with a max win potential of x25,000.

The artwork is really class. It’s obvious they paid attention to the details, and the music fits the dark Norse theme very well.

In the base game, Raven Wilds appear randomly on the reels with a 1x multiplier attached, and they connect other symbols. There’s also a Golden Raven, which drops 2 new Raven Wilds on random reels. If it drops a Raven Wild on top of one that’s already on the reels, that Wild’s multiplier goes up randomly.

The base game is a lot of fun when you get the juice from the Golden Raven.

There are 2 types of Scatters, Normal Scatters and Super Scatters, and the combination you land decides which bonus round is triggered:

Standard Bonus (3 Normal Scatters): Wilds become sticky, and every time a spin has a winning connection through one of them, the next spin gets +1 multiplier on top. Super Bonus (4 Normal Scatters, or 2 Normal and 1 Super Scatter): Wilds are sticky again, but this time you get +2 multiplier on the next spin for every win. Mythic Bonus (5 Normal Scatters, or 3 Normal and 1 Super Scatter): Things get heated here, because all Ravens become Golden Ravens, which is an insane multiplier potential.

In our session we triggered the Super Bonus twice and the Standard Bonus 3 times, and we saw some decent action in the base game too.

We didn’t manage to hit a win over x245, but overall it’s a very decent game, and we’ll probably drop another 1,000 spins on it some time.
