Rise of Olympus
Day 24 continued the Play’n GO classics series with Rise of Olympus. One of my biggest losing days so far, but this 2018 title was still a lot of fun and earns the 1000 Spins APPROVED stamp.

Day 24 - Rise of Olympus - Slot Review
Day 24, I continued the Play’n GO classics series with Rise of Olympus, one of Play’n GO’s older titles released back in 2018.
The game is played on a 5x5 grid instead of reels. To win, you need to line up 3 or more of the same symbol in a straight row, either across or down. Every winning group disappears, new symbols drop in to fill the space, and each new drop raises the win multiplier, so one win can lead to several more in the same spin.
The Coin wild can stand in for any symbol to help complete a row, and when a 3-symbol win is removed, a new Coin wild appears in the middle of where it was.
When a spin doesn’t win, one of the three gods can step in to help. Hades changes a group of symbols into another symbol, Poseidon drops one or two wilds onto the grid, and Zeus wipes out two groups of symbols to make room for new ones. Which god helps you depends on the one showing on the right side of the screen.
Wins made with the god faces (Zeus, Poseidon and Hades, which can be mixed in the same row) fill up the meter on the side. A row of 3 fills one part, a row of 4 fills two, and a row of 5 fills it completely. Once it’s full, you get a free round where all three gods take turns using their powers.
If you manage to clear every symbol off the grid, you trigger the free spins. You pick a god to play with: Hades gives you 4 spins, Poseidon 5 and Zeus 8. Your god helps out on every losing spin, and the multiplier keeps growing across the spins instead of resetting, all the way up to x20. Filling the meter again gives you more spins (4 with Hades, 3 with Poseidon, 2 with Zeus) up to 20 in total, and clearing the grid during the free spins pays an instant 100x your bet.
In my 1000 spins session, I managed to get into the free spins twice, and both times I picked Hades, which turned out to be the wrong choice.
The biggest multi of the day was an 81x win. It was one of my biggest losing days so far, but it was still fun and an 8-year-old game still delivered. I did get a bit tilted though :D so I’ll be trying one of the newer games from this series tomorrow!
Not a winning day, but with Rise of Olympus you can’t go wrong. 1000 Spins APPROVED.
