Day 8 - Vegascaline - Slot Review

For day 8 of 1000 Spins, I changed the playlist again and picked a slot from a new studio called Exco Gaming, for two reasons.

Reason one: Vegascaline is themed after the classic movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Reason two: the people behind this studio built Yggdrasil's games back in the day, which were amazing for their time.

In the base game, what we're chasing are the wrapper stacks. When they land, they lock in and trigger respins, which then connect with symbols on the other reels. Keep landing wrappers on other reels and they keep re-triggering. Inside the bonus round, a progressive multiplier is layered on top, which makes it super fun.

The first 500 spins felt like a long drive through the desert with nothing on the horizon: a few 20x wins, a 30x in the base game, and no 3+ scatters to trigger the bonus round.

At the start of the second 500, we landed 4 scatters and kicked off a bonus round that paid x93. About 100 spins later, 4 scatters again and another bonus round, and this time the re-triggers kept coming. We banked a x645 multiplier win from it.

The rule of thumb: when the re-triggers reveal a high-paying symbol on 4 reels, it's payday.

The theme and artwork are a blast, and Raoul Duke and Dr. Gonzo would feel right at home. The music, though? Terrible and repetitive, so consider yourself warned. Both the base game and the bonus round were really fun to play.

Buy the ticket, take the ride. Is it 1000 Spins Approved? YES.
